Cedarbrae Breakfast Club

We were approached by the community out-reach worker, who in conjunction with a student rep, had conducted a survey throughout the school. Their finding indicated that many students were coming to school without eating breakfast, due to either lack of time or lack of funds.

We were given an auto construction room, which required a lot of work. The students got together and not only cleaned out the room but decorated it to create a warm atmosphere for all the student to enjoy.

During our grand opening, a student had written a rap about the breakfast club and it was wonderful to see what the breakfast club meant to the students.
