Downsview Breakfast Club

The Downsview Breakfast Club is situated in a high school. It was the first breakfast club opened in a high school. We realized that just because the students were attending a high school did not mean that they were necessarily eating breakfast. Attending a program in their community, with the younger children did not come across as being cool. In a high school setting, all their peers were coming for breakfast, providing them a place to be with their friends, do homework etc.

As per our mandate, we encourage the students to help in cleaning, serving and doing the dishes.
